Terms of service
The terms, in plain words.
Using Pressentable means agreeing to what follows. It is short on purpose: a document nobody reads protects nobody.
What the service is
Pressentable turns a spreadsheet into a typeset report. The editor is free to open, with no account and no card. A free account, one email and no password, is what keeps your export.
Founding membership
A founding membership costs $15 per month, billed through Stripe, and that price does not rise for as long as you keep the membership. It adds two things: publishing a report at a public link, and printing without our mark. A member may keep up to ten published reports at a time.
Cancel whenever you like, from your account. Your reports are kept, and cancelling stops the next payment rather than refunding the current month.
Your work stays yours
Your data and the reports you make from it are yours. We claim no ownership of them. Publishing grants us one narrow permission: to store and serve that report so its public link works. Nothing more, and it ends when the report comes down.
You are responsible for what you publish: that you have the right to it, and that it is not unlawful. We may remove a published report that is unlawful or is used to harm somebody, and we will tell you why.
Alpha software, honestly
Pressentable is in alpha and says so on every page. It is offered as it stands, without a promised uptime, and features may change. Keep your source file: it is the master copy, and the report is rendered from it.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here removes rights you hold under Swiss law that cannot be waived.
Law, changes, and how to reach us
Pressentable is operated from Geneva, Switzerland. These terms are governed by Swiss law, and the courts of Geneva have jurisdiction. If we change them materially, we will say so here and move the date at the top.
